Gloria was a very special lady. May her memory be blessing. I had the pleasure of working with her at the JCC as the President of the Jewish Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and will miss her calls planning each meeting.

To all of Gloria's family and loved ones - so many prayers and thoughts are with you and I am so very sorry for everyone's loss. I met Gloria over 30 years ago and since the day we met she had a very special place in my heart forever. Whenever we talked on the phone we always said I love you to each other and whenever we saw each other at our ladies auxiliary meetings we gave each other a hug and a kiss. She was the president of of our ladies group and I would always tell her that she and our other president were running our country. She also was one of life's many blessings I am thankful for and the special bond we shared, and like so many of our very dear beloved no longer with us - she will be loved and missed so very much forever.

I was sad to learn of Gloria's passing. She was a very special person, and I was privileged to know her through NCJW GRS. May her memory be a blessing and bring comfort in the days and months ahead.

I have known the lovely and vibrant Gloria for well ove 20 years. She was the dynamic and lively president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans. She was very heavily involved. We had a lot of conversations and meetings over the years. She was like a force of nature with boundless energy.. I used to tell her that she was like 30 years younger, than her real age. I will miss Gloria. My condolences to the family. I am sure she’s reunited with her lovely husband Benny. Rest in peace, Gloria. You deserve it. Jayne Miller

Boruch Dayan haEmes. Im so sad to have “Mrs Kaplan” leave our world but happy that she will be reunited with Mr Kaplan and her parents. Your Mom was always such an integral part of the Beth Sholom scene. Purim carnivals and Chanukah parties. And of course she and your Dad AND your grandmother were great sports about doing Beth Sholom and Ora Academy Bingo. She actually enjoyed it and the players loved her friendly and energetic personality. We all did. And whenever she’d see me I could count on her to sing the praises of my own parents. She made me feel so good. And in recent years she absolutely shined when you came to town and especially when you feted her birthday with a congregational kiddish. And Brenda, how proud we all were when your son gave the Shabbos sermon. You all gave her such NACHAS! I won’t be able to honour her at the funeral as she passes from this world to the next. I’m not in Rochester for Pesach but hope to reconnect with you after. Please take tremendous comfort and satisfaction that no Mom was any prouder. And boy, did she love all of you! Love, Susie Please continue visiting Rochester and Beth Sholom.
